Monday 4th June 2018


Event: Boost Your Business (two-day programme), Enterprise Hub
Where: 54 St James Street, L1 0AB
When: 4th & 5th June, 9:30am – 4:30pm

Open to businesses registered within the Liverpool City Region within the last 12 months, this two-day fully funded programme will help you to reflect on what you have done so far and strategise for the next period. Course includes; business planning, time management, marketing and networking strategy.

Event: Building a Social Media Strategy, The Women’s Organisation
Where: 54 St James Street, L1 0AB
When: 5th June, 10 - 1pm

This introductory course will look at a range of Social Media channels for business, including Blogs, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It will help you establish which ones are suitable for you, as well as hints and tips on building great content.

Event: Explore Enterprise (three-day course), The Princes Trust
Where: 105 Duke St, Liverpool L1 5JQ
When: 5th, 6th and 7th June, 10 - 4pm

Three-day course covering all aspects of becoming self-employed and running a business. Topics range from HMRC, Cash Flow’s and Business Finance to Sales, Marketing and Business Planning. This is the first stage of our Enterprise Programme, where ultimately young people aged between 18 and 30 can potentially be supported to launch their businesses. Support includes Business mentoring and finance up to £5000.

Event: Registered Designs Free Workshop, Liverpool Central Library
Where: Liverpool Central Library, William Brown Street, Business & IP Centre, (first floor)
When: 6th June, 6 – 7pm

Registered designs protect the appearance of a product. A UK registered design gives its owner the exclusive right in the UK to make, use, sell, import and export any product embodying the design. This workshop will explain the basics behind registered design protection and registration, and how to use internet databases and resources to search for designs.

Event: The Onion Business Advice Open Drop-in, Merseyside Expanding Horizons

When: 8th June, 10 – 3pm

Drop in to 'The Onion' in Bootle Strand Shopping Centre any time 10am - 3pm to meet the Enterprise Hub Team from Merseyside Expanding Horizons and get some initial advice and guidance.
